I’m not under pressure to score at United, says Ighalo

Manchester United striker, Odion Ighalo, says he is not under pressure to score goals for the team.
The ex-Super Eagles frontman was a deadline day signing for the Red Devis and has featured twice in all competitions for the Red Devils against Chelsea in the English Premier League and a UEFA Europa League appearance against Club Brugge on Thursday.

Man City: Players free to say what they think - Pep Guardiola

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola insists he has no problem with England forward Raheem Sterling discussing the possibility of a move to Real Madrid.

Sterling was quizzed by Spanish outlet AS about joining Real, given City's two-year ban from European competition.

The 25-year-old re-iterated that he was "really happy at City" but admitted: "I am always open to challenges."

Guardiola said his players were "free to say what they think. We're not here to tell them what they have to say".

Wenger Disagrees With Ref ON Xhaka's red

Arsene Wenger has claimed Graint Xhaka's sending off against Swansea was harsh.
The Swiss midfielder was dismissed during the second-half of the 3-2 win at the Emirates for a cynical challenge on Modou Barrow.
He was shown a straight red by referee Jonathan Moss - much to the frustration of the Arsenal support.
The Gunners managed to hang on to all three points and afterwards Wenger suggested the dismissal was unlucky.
"It looked harsh to me. A dark yellow. But the referee went for a bright red," he said.
Theo walcott continued his impressive form with a brace in the win, although Arsenal were hanging on towards the end of the game.
The England man score man scored twice in the first-half before Gylfi Sigurdsson brought Swansea back into it.

William And Diego Costa Steady Chelsea Ship

William and Diego Costa scored twice in six second-half minutes as Chelsea won 2 - 0 at Hull City on saturday to claim a first win in four Premier League games.
William struck in the 61st minutes after Chelsea launched one of a series of increasingly dangerous counter-attack.
Costa's pass picked out the Brazilian, who checked, putting his defender out of the game in the process, before curling an unstoppable shot into the top-right corner of the Hull goal.

Arsene Wenger: Arsenal Manager Open To England Role 'One Day'

Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger says he would be open to managing England in the future, but his current focus is with the Gunners.
"One day, if i'm free, why not?" said Wenger, 66, when asked about the role.
The Frenchman celebrates 20 years at Arsenal on 1 october and his contract expires at the end of this season.
The football Association is searching for a new England boss following Sam Allardyce's depature after 67 days in the wake of a newspaper investigation.

Injured Ramesey Out Of Wales World Cup Qualifiers

Aaron Ramsey has been left out of the wales squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Austria and Georgia next week as he continues to struggle with a hamstring injury.
The Arsenal midfielder has been sidelined since sustaining the injury during the Gunners' opening Premier League game last month. Ramsey, one of the stars of wales's run to the semi-finals of this year's European Championships in France, will miss the Austria game in vienna next Thursday and the game against Georgia in cardiff three days later.

President of Nigeria Aquatic Federation (NAF) Babatunde Fatai Williams has accused the ministry of sport of not living up to its duties as regards taking care of the swimming pool at the Abuja national stadium, which is in a bad state now.
Williams stated that the pool is currently in a sorry state and begging for urgent attention. "Everything in the pool is in a bad state," he said, adding that "the pumps are not working and there is no power supply to the Abuja Nation Stadium."
He stressed that the pool requires total renovation. "We need a good generator, chemical, good pumping machine among other things to get the pool functioning again," he said.

Broke NFF Needs N85m For Eagles' World Cup Qualifier Against Zambia

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is shopping for 85 million to execute the 2018 World cup qualifier against the chipolopolo of Zambia on october 9 in Ndola.
The NFF had in recent weeks been lamenting what an official described as 'no cash' situation to carry on their activities, particularly the fast approaching tie against Zambia. A top official said: "We need about n85 million to take care of the match against Zambia on october 9, but as we speak, we don't have any kobo in our purse. Breaking down the NFF budget for the World Cup qualifier against Zambia, the official said: "The charges for the Airline alone is $200,000 for 140-seater plane, and it will be on ground with the team for two days. We need between $6,000 and $10,000 for flight ticket to bring in the players. their bonuses alone are within the range of N30 million. we don't have any kobo in our purse right now, hence the need for us to approach Glo to come our aid. But the Federal Government still has to play its part because this is beginning of our campaign for 2018 World Cup qualifying ticket.

Sam Allardyce: Arsene Wenger Says England Boss Needs Chance To Clear Name

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said England boss Sam Allardyce "needs to be allowed to defend himself", following allegation.
A daily telegraph investigation says Allardyce, 61, used his role to negotiate a £400,000 deal and also offered advice on how to "get around" rules on player transfers.
Allardyce is yet to respond to the allegations and was due to meet with Football Association Chairman Greg Clarke and chief executive Martin Glenn on Tuesday
The former bolton, Newcastle and West Ham manager also appears to criticize the FA, his international predecessor Roy Hodgson and ex-England assistant Gary Neville.
 "You have to let Sam Allardyce defend himself and i just hope he will clear his name," said Wenger.

Ronaldo looked unhappy after being taken off 18 minutes from the end of Real's 2-2 La Liga draw at las Palmas on Saturday.
''i know he wants to play and always wants to stay on the field,'' said Real coach Zidane. ''but i also have to think about the players and for me it was best to rest and think about Tuesday.''
