Christian Ronaldo must accept that sometimes he will be substituted, Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane says.

Ronaldo looked unhappy after being taken off 18 minutes from the end of Real's 2-2 La Liga draw at las Palmas on Saturday.

''i know he wants to play and always wants to stay on the field,'' said Real coach Zidane. ''but i also have to think about the players and for me it was best to rest and think about Tuesday.''

Rotary commit $100m to curb resurgence of polio in nigeria

                                           

Mr Bisi Adegoke, Rotary Governor, District 9125, said on Sunday that the Rotary club was committing 100 million Dollars to prevent resurgence of polio meningitis in the country.

Adegoke, who disclosed this at a news conference in Ilorin, said that $33 million was contributed by Rotarian across the country while the remaining $66 million came from the rotary endowment fund.

Naira Strengthens Against Dollar At Inter-bank Market

       The Naira on Friday appreciated against the dollar at the inter bank market, after sustaining losses for two days. The Nigerian currency gained N5.28 to close at N307.79 posted on Thursday. Tradind at the Bureau De Change segment of the market showed that the Naria exchanged at N433, N550 and N472 against the Dollar, pound sterling and euro respectively.
